Refund policy

Empire Copper has a 14-day return and refund policy.

This means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Due to the individualised and customised nature of our work, and with most of our pieces being made to order, we won't accept returns on orders with personalisation or, if you simply change your mind. Orders with personalisation may only be returned if an error has been made by Empire Copper, such as an incorrect item or incorrect engraving. Personalisation details are the sole responsibility of the customer. Empire Copper can not be held liable if you have made an error in your request, please check all personalisation requests closely before submitting your order.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged. Please keep all packaging and/or take photos as the postal service may request these for insurance purposes. If you have received the wrong item, please contact us straight away. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or sale items. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Final refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Empire Copper. Exceptions may be made from time to time however, in this instance, postage will be paid for by you (the customer) and you will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
